- Well. Let's drop the conservative crap. After all, people in Utah get welfare for their broods and harems: The extra wives claim to be single mothers. Check out WVa, Kentucky, and Tennesee. SS money is the #1 occupation in some parts of those states, and they are solidly in the red.

- Money concerns aside, there is no way this woman can take care of all these kids. There is not enough time for it. Even if Grandma works with her full time there will be a stress. CFS or whatever California has instead should have no trouble finding bad conditions with this situation.

- It is a possible future child. The doctor is thinking about the future. The abortion is in the present. Doctors are generally smart enough to think about consequenses of actions, after all these doctors had the foresight to have a million people in the delivery room.

- I have been to funerals for mothers who turned into addicts because kids were too much for them. I have also heard of (just last week in Kent, Ohio) people being killed by their own kids. So yes; having kids can kill you.

- When you get your car fixed, they don't let you take it home until you pay. How about making her come up with the $3 million before she gets the babies? If she can't then put the babies in foster homes and make her pay $375,000 a piece to get them from that.

- If these experts are so smart why don't they realize that money "saved" in a bank or put on an overdue bill is money put into another rung of the economy too. Foreclosures are on the rise. So if someone uses their $500 to help with the mortgage, it helps reduce foreclosures.
